Locking elements of your design is a great way to avoid making unintentional changes to them while you edit other parts of your design. Locking an element means that that particular part of your design can't be moved or edited while it is locked. You can easily unlock elements that you need to edit and lock them back up when you're done.

To unlock an element of your design: #

• Click on the element
• In the upper right-hand corner of the Canva editor click the unlock button

To lock an element of your design: #

• Click on the element
• In the upper right-hand corner of the Canva editor click the lock button
